Framed Hand-Painted Reverse Glass Dogs & Birds Paintings

This collection of hand-painted reverse glass paintings brings together dogs and birds. Each is painted by hand on the back of the glass, so the colours sit glossy and jewel-bright behind the surface, in the manner of old natural history illustrations. Set in their own aged wooden frames. The paintings White Dog: a pale hound with a red studded collar. Distressed black frame. Spotted Dog: a dalmatian-style dog on a grassy hill among small flowers. Distressed gilt frame. Puffin: a puffin with a striped beak, standing on a green rock above the sea. Carved wooden frame with pink and silver detailing.
