Vintage Mid Century Plaid Feed Sack Fabric Panel Dimensions: 41 inches wide x 70 inches long Material/Texture: Authentic, rustic 100% cotton weave typical of mid century utility sacks, featuring a characteristic visible linen like texture. Pattern & Colorway: A striking geometric diagonal plaid tartan motif. The color palette features alternating blocks of pink and green, intersected by clean white blocks layered with plum purple cross hatching. Construction & Details: The fabric consists of two pieces joined with a homemade horizontal machine stitch down the center to achieve its extra long length. Features machine hemmed edges along three sides, this panel was originally used as a curtain panel over basement shelving where homemade canned goods were stored. Condition: Fair to good vintage condition. The fabric has some fading. Notable age related wear includes some localized, rust colored age stains primarily along the upper left margin (as pictured). There are some small stains in the center also. No major rips, holes, or fraying. Because of its large size and finished sides, it is perfectly suited for use as a retro tablecloth, cabin curtains, a lightweight summer coverlet, or for cutting into blocks for historical quilting and sewing projects.
