Jardines Del Eden Washed SL 28

We are excited to bring you a truly unique Colombian coffee from Finca Jardines del Edén, produced by the Arcila family in the highlands of Quindío, Colombia. This lot features the SL28 variety, a legendary variety originally associated with Kenya and highly prized for its ability to produce coffees with incredible complexity, vibrant acidity, and intense fruit character. Growing SL28 in the high elevations of Colombia gives this coffee a fascinating expression of the variety while adding the characteristics of Colombian terroir. The coffee is carefully washed, allowing the natural qualities of the SL28 to shine through in a remarkably clean and elegant cup. The cup begins with a lively citrus acidity, followed by layers of sweet red fruit and a delicate richness. As it cools, the grapefruit and citrus notes become even more expressive, while the sweetness and fruit complexity continue to develop. Very limited. Very special. Don’t wait too long!
