2006 Triumph Thruxton 900 Desert Sled — One-Off Custom This is a one-off Desert Sled based on a 2006 Triumph Thruxton 900 — and it’s absolutely awesome! 🤩 Built with seemingly no expense spared, this is far more than a cosmetic custom. It’s bristling with seriously expensive components, beautifully fabricated one-off parts and clever details everywhere you look. At its heart is the 865cc air-cooled Thruxton parallel twin, now breathing through twin pumper carburettors that could suck an orange through a hosepipe! Add the handmade exhaust system and this thing absolutely flies — and sounds fantastic doing it. It’s also fitted with a quickshifter, making the changes beautifully seamless when you're pressing on. The build features oversized forks, oversized wheels, Norman Hyde components throughout, bespoke indicator mounts, a one-off chain guard and numerous other custom-made details. Then there’s the flawless Gulf-inspired paintwork. It suits the bike perfectly and finishes off what is an incredibly well-executed build. I genuinely love this bike and have been using it every day since it arrived. It’s quick, sounds superb and has that rare quality of being a custom bike that you actually want to get on and ride. You simply couldn't build this bike for the asking price.
