Baratza Vario (Refurbished)

This is a capable grinder from Baratza, which was purchased from us a few years ago and used by one of our customers for espresso. He's recently upgraded to the Fiorenzato AllGround, and asked me to sell this one for him. It's installed with the forks for a portafilter, and this grinder is built for making espresso. It grinds by time, not by weight, and has macro and micro grind adjustment sliders. It uses ceramic flat burrs, which are a significant improvement over conical burrs, and ceramic tends to get and stay sharper than steel. It will back out to a grind size that could be used for pourover or drip, should you want to use it for both brewing methods. But it doesn't come with another grounds bin, so you'd need to pull the forks and grind straight into your filter or another receptacle. We cleaned it and made sure it works properly, and replaced parts that weren't working as they should. Get it.
