Mosaic Knitting - Black Light Cowl | November 8, 2026

This is a 1 session in-person workshop. DATES/TIMES Sunday, November 8, 2026; 1:00 - 3:00pm COST $75 LEVEL Intermediate knitter - confident with casting on, knit, purl, and binding off. Helpful if you've done increasing, decreasing and stripes, but not required. MATERIALS (not included) Download Free Pattern - Black Light Cowl 2 Skeins of Worsted Weight yarn in 2 high contrasting colors - take a photo of your color choices in black and white to ensure they are high contrast. We recommend Malabrigo Rios, Junction Fiber Mill Making Tracks, Galway Worsted. US 7 & 9 20 - 24" circular needles 6 stitch markers (one unique for beginning of round, 5 of the same for repeat markers) DETAILS Never done colorwork? Mosaic is a really fun and, believe it or not, simple way to achieve really cool patterns! In this two hour class, students will learn how to read and knit from a mosaic colorwork chart while making this eye catching cowl! HOMEWORK Download pattern With MC and smaller needle, CO 108 sts. Place distinct marker and join for working the round. Work through the first 4 rounds of the "lower edge", ready to begin chart.
