Autumn Slate Sisal

Autumn Slate Sisal is a standout standalone style in the Floorspace sisal range, a 100% natural sisal floorcovering with a distinctive heathered, multi-tonal slate finish over a flatter, smoother weave. The flatter surface assists with ease of cleaning and makes Autumn Slate particularly well suited to high-traffic areas including stairs and dining-room rugs. The carpet is woven from 100% natural sisal fibre, harvested from the leaves of the Agave sisalana cactus grown in sub-tropical climates. Sisal is one of the strongest natural fibres available, and Autumn Slate sits among the flatter weaves in the Floorspace range with a smooth, even texture and a multi-tonal heathered finish that brings depth without committing to a strong pattern. Supplied as 4-metre wide rolls cut to size, Autumn Slate Sisal can be installed wall-to-wall over a recycled cotton or rubber underlay. It can also be made up as a custom-bordered rug with edge finishes including 2" cotton, hessian, linen, leather, overlock, or tuck-under. Autumn Slate is well suited to high-traffic areas including stair runners, hallways, dining rooms, and living rooms. The flatter weave reduces dust build-up compared with chunkier rustic styles, and the fibre is naturally hypoallergenic, anti-static, and breathable. Many households report a reduction in allergy symptoms after switching from synthetic floorcoverings to natural sisal. An optional natural spray protection with UV guard is available for installations in dining rooms and other higher-risk spaces. Sisal is fully biodegradable and harvested from a renewable cactus crop, farmed with restricted pesticide use and minimal chemical processing throughout.
