Kennedy Freeman is a independent artist based in Chicago. She creates whimsical and colorful portraits that aim to capture my perspective of the world. Her subjects are often black women like myself. Black women deserve to have joyful and feminine representation. She believes black women, like herself, deserve to be able to daydream and see themselves romanticized. She love experimenting with color, pattern, textures and more to create fun pieces. There are no bounds to her work but it often reflects her personal life.
