Alabama Wildflower Honey
Most honey on grocery store shelves is ultra-filtered, heated, and blended from multiple countries. This honey isn't. This is raw Alabama wildflower honey — harvested from Alabama bees, minimally strained, and bottled as-is. What you get is exactly what the bees produced from Alabama's wildflower forage. We bottle honey in our facility in Irondale, Alabama, where we put the city the bees foraged in right on the label. So you'll know exactly which area your honey is from. What Raw Means Raw honey hasn't been heated above hive temperature or fine-filtered to remove pollen. That means it still contains natural enzymes, pollen, and trace compounds that disappear the moment honey gets processed. It also means it will crystallize — that's not a defect, it's proof the honey is real. To reliquefy, set the jar in warm water. Don't microwave it. What Wildflower Means Wildflower honey — sometimes called multifloral — comes from bees foraging across many flower sources rather than one dominant crop. The flavor shifts seasonally and year to year depending on what's blooming. It's never exactly the same twice, which is part of the point. Alabama wildflower typically runs amber with a full, slightly fruity flavor profile.
