Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt

Located on a 300-acre farm just south of Perth, on the border between the Highlands and Lowlands, Aberargie is a true field-to-glass operation. The distillery grows its own barley on-site, bringing a rare level of provenance and control to every stage of production. This inaugural release is matured in a thoughtful combination of 50% bourbon casks and 50% sherry casks, bottled at 48.2% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured, allowing the spirit to be presented in its purest form. Unpeated and fresh in style, this is an exceptionally approachable single malt that still carries impressive depth for a debut release. Expect layered notes of baked apple, roasted nuts, honey-drizzled oats, and soft malt sweetness, all carried by a gentle, rounded texture.
