Handmade in the Khan al Khalili market of Egypt, this lovely wood box is made by craftsmen with extraordinary talent and patience. The shimmery mother-of-pearl is hand cut into different shapes and individually inlayed to create the geometric finished design of the lid. Taking several days to create, this lovely box is perfect to store jewelry and othe treasures. Comes complete with a flip lid with fabric hinge and fabric cushioned interior. Spot clean interior with water and polish lightly with wood polish to restore luster, avoiding the mother-of-pearl design. Measures 5 x 5.5 x 2 in.
