Shark Carving

A shark carved from warm amber-stained Indonesian wood, lying flat and horizontal with fins spread and jaw open. The grain runs the length of the body, dark lines through honey-brown. The carving is confident and direct: a broad head, a swept tail, the teeth just visible at the open mouth. Made in Indonesia by a small team of carvers.
