French Spring White Masterclass 6-Pack | Loire & Burgundy Collection
Six exceptional French white wines, all from small family estates we import directly. The French Spring White Masterclass brings together a curated lineup from two of France’s greatest white wine regions: the Loire Valley and Burgundy. Inside, you’ll taste crisp mineral-driven Sauvignon Blancs, elegant Chardonnays, and bottles that show why France still sets the benchmark for white wine. This is not a random bundle. It’s a guided tour through classic appellations, serious growers, and wines built for spring dinners, seafood, patios, roast chicken, sunshine, and people who appreciate drinking well. 1. Sancerre 2023, François Reverdy (Loire) Reverdy is one of the steady family names in Sancerre, working limestone-heavy terroir on the Loire's eastern bank. Bright, citrus-driven Sauvignon Blanc with the chalky cut that defines the appellation. Our top-selling white for a reason. 2. Chablis 2023, Domaine Mosnier (Burgundy) Pure Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone, the fossil-rich seabed soil that defines every real Chablis. Steel-fermented, no oak, no makeup. As clean as Burgundy gets. 3. Pouilly-Fumé 2023, Domaine Chollet (Loire) The other side of the river from Sancerre and a different beast entirely. Flinty soil, smokier wine, more weight on the palate. Severin and Gilles Chollet are a small family producer working their own parcels. 4. Viré-Clessé "Plaisance" 2022, Domaine Thierry Drouin (Burgundy) Mâconnais Chardonnay at its most generous. Rounder than Chablis, more restrained than the cliché of Mâcon. Drouin is one of the most reliable names in the region. 5. Sigma Sauvignon 2021, Domaine des Athénées (Loire) Coteaux du Giennois, the Loire appellation just south of Sancerre that most people haven't heard of yet. Same soil family, same grape, around half the price. Quietly excellent. 6. Mâcon-Bussières "Le Vieux Puits" 2022, Domaine Thierry Drouin (Burgundy) Drouin's village-level Mâcon from old vines. Approachable, fresh, the kind of Chardonnay you open without thinking about it. The story in one sentence. Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé sit on opposite banks of the same river and taste like distant cousins. Chablis, Viré-Clessé and Mâcon-Bussières are all Chardonnay but you'd never confuse them at the table. This is the case that lets you taste it side by side.
