Barking Dog | +/- 1660
This 17th-century Delft tile depicts a barking dog, delicately painted in blue. The animal is captured mid-barking, and the tile is decorated by Fleur-de-lis corner motifs with balusters at the side. Dating from around 1660, the tile is in satisfactory condition, with visible missing glaze parts and reburbishment work in the bottom right corner, representing part of its story.
