French Mid-Century Ruby and Diamond Earrings
Created by the workshop of woman jeweler Raymonde Muse Sarrazy, Paris, these platinum, ruby, and diamond earrings date from the 1960s–1970s. Each bombé, stylized leaf earring is pavé-set with circular-cut rubies, edged by marquise and baguette-cut diamonds, and set on a graduating baguette-cut diamond stem, mounted in platinum and 18K gold. Luxuriantly red and sparkling, these superb earrings are the work of a mysterious mid-century woman jeweler who manufactured high style work for Cartier, Boucheron and Bulgari.
