Divisi Ma Sempre Uniti Pendant Pair, Sterling Silver, 3.65g
We love finding pieces of nostalgic history. This pair of pendants features a male and female face with the Latin "Divisi Ma Sempre Uniti" which means "divided but always united". This was a pair of pendants that each half wore - or was worn as a combined pair by one as an emblem of the love of the couple. When we bought these we assumed they were original Italian - however, the hallmarks are not clear - and there are new "925" hallmarks on the bail. It appears that someone so loved the concept they had an original hallmarked pair re-cast, so loved is the sentiment and the idea. Selling as a pair just now - so you can split with your loved one. Particulars: Weight 3.65g Width 21 x 23 x 1.4mm pair on 6x 5mm jump rings (closed not soldered) Hallmarks "925" on the bails Condition - these are re-casts of the originals so the original hallmarks are not clear.
