This jerkbait is easy to handle and can be fished with both a fixed spool reel and a baitcaster reel. It automatically changes direction when retrieved (rolling S-shape) and, unlike conventional models, gives an extra strong jerk when changing direction, which can be clearly felt in the rod blank, as can the pike as a pressure wave on the sideline. Another very promising method is retrieving or jerking with extra-long spin stops. The suspender glides along the track and sinks to the bottom with a slight flanking of the belly.
