Why I Made the Origin Pants When I began my climbing journey, I was beyond excited to embrace the sport and the community, but my enthusiasm was quickly dampened by the fact that I could not find a single pair of climbing pants that looked good and fit both my hips and my waist. Traditional outdoor pants centered a straight, narrow fit that left me feeling squeezed & restricted, and the lack of functional pockets drove me nuts! After hearing from dozens of other women and climbers who echoed my struggles, I created Pangoo to redefine what being outside looks like: by celebrating bodies, identities, and stories traditionally underrepresented in the outdoors.
