Cake Camp: Christmas in July 20-23, Grades K-3

Jingle all the way—it’s Christmas in July at Cake Hoopla! Christmas in July Cake Camp is a four-day, holiday-themed summer cake camp created especially for our youngest decorators who love cheerful colors, silly fun, and the magic of Christmas. During this merry Cake Camp (July 20–23, 2026), campers will decorate cupcakes and cakes while learning beginner-friendly cake-decorating skills at a kid-appropriate pace. Campers will practice mixing and coloring frosting, spreading smooth buttercream, trying simple piping, and shaping fondant into festive favorites like trees, ornaments, snowflakes, and friendly holiday characters. On the final day, each camper will decorate their own 6" Christmas-in-July cake to proudly take home. Beyond decorating, the week is packed with playful holiday fun. Campers will decorate a reusable apron, mix up their own custom sprinkle blend, play Christmas-themed games, and earn Cake Camp Achievements as they learn new skills and build confidence. Festive outfits are welcome throughout the week for extra holiday cheer. The camp wraps up with a special Christmas-in-July celebration featuring a popcorn and cold cocoa party—because summer deserves its own version of cozy. Returning campers are welcome! Activities are thoughtfully refreshed each year to ensure every camper enjoys a fun, engaging experience, whether it’s their first camp or their fifth. WHAT’S INCLUDED: A reusable, washable apron to decorate and wear throughout camp (repeat campers may size up or choose a different item to decorate) A cake-decorating beginner’s tool kit to take home and practice with after camp, including a small offset spatula, piping tips, and piping bags A design notebook for sketching festive cake ideas 6 cupcakes to decorate and bring home A custom sprinkle mix created by the camper to take home Cake Camp Achievements that mark campers’ progress and celebrate what they’ve learned A 6" cake to decorate and bring home on the final day Daily vegetarian, nut-free snack break (campers may bring additional snacks if needed) Christmas-themed cake lessons, games, and sprinkle-making fun Popcorn and cold cocoa party on the final day Expert guidance from Cake Hoopla instructors in a supportive, age-appropriate environment CAMP DETAILS: Dates: Monday–Thursday, July 20–23, 2026 Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Location: Cake Hoopla, 7173 SW Dartmouth St., Tigard, OR 97223 REQUIREMENTS: For kids in grades K–3 or equivalent age range/skillset Bring a refillable water bottle Wear comfortable, mess-friendly clothing A parent or guardian must sign a Waiver, Release, and Behavior Policy IMPORTANT NOTES: Minimum Participation. At least 5 participants must sign up for this camp to take place. If fewer than 5 participants register, the camp will be canceled, and all bookings will be fully refunded with at least one week's. Refund Policy. If you need to cancel your Cake Camp booking, you may do so for a full refund by emailing hey@cakehoopla.com on or before 14 days prior to the start of the camp. Cancellations made thereafter will be issued store credit in the form of an electronic gift card. No-shows are ineligible for any type of refund or store credit.
