Hyco PowerFlow Smart 50L Unvented Multipoint Smart Technology Water Heater with Anti-Legionella Function (3.0kW) - PF50LS The Hyco PowerFlow Smart PF50LS is a high-performance 50-litre unvented multipoint water heater designed to provide reliable mains-pressure hot water to multiple outlets from a single compact unit. Equipped with a powerful 3.0kW Incoloy stainless steel heating element and advanced Smart Technology controls, the PF50LS delivers fast recovery times while optimising energy consumption through Standard, Smart and Eco operating modes. Its wall-mounted design makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial, public sector and residential applications including offices, washrooms, healthcare facilities, staff kitchens and hospitality environments. Built for long-term durability and efficient operation, the PF50LS features a glass-lined steel storage tank protected by a replaceable magnesium anode, combined with high-density CFC-free polyurethane insulation to minimise standing heat losses. An electronically controlled thermostat provides precise temperature adjustment between 30°C and 70°C, while the innovative internal tank design reduces cold-water mixing to maximise available hot water capacity. The integrated Anti-Legionella function automatically raises the stored water temperature to 65°C for one hour every two weeks, supporting water hygiene management and helping reduce the risk of bacterial growth. Additional features include a digital control panel, external electronic temperature control, IPX4 protection rating and ErP Energy Efficiency Class A certification. Supplied complete with a comprehensive unvented installation kit, the PF50LS includes an expansion vessel, pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, check valve assembly and tundishes for compliant installation. Operating at a working pressure of 3 bar, the unit incorporates multiple safety features including overheat protection, a temperature and pressure relief valve rated at 7 bar/90°C and a pressure relief valve set at 6 bar.
