Flat-Free (Solid) Wheels Best for: Indoor use, smooth paved surfaces, and tight indoor turning. Maintenance: Zero maintenance. You never have to worry about flats or checking air pressure. Drawback: They offer a stiffer ride, transferring more vibration from the ground to your body on bumps. Pneumatic (Air-Filled) Wheels Best for: Outdoor use, gravel, grass, and uneven or rough terrains.
