Matthew Cory is a retired tennis teaching professional in Matthews, NC. He spends his days writing and taking care of his German Shepherd, Greta. His poems have been featured in The Lyric, Blue Unicorn, Westward Quarterly, and The Orchards Poetry Journal. He counts Thomas Hardy, Edward Arlington Robinson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow among his poetic inspirations.
