Very Good used hardcover. First Edition. Red cloth with gilt embossed bird figures on cover and gilt lettering on spine. No dust jacket, but front cover of dj laid in. Cloth beginning to wear at corners and spine. Age toned. Previous owner's bookplate on ffp. Renowned wildlife artist C.F. Tunnicliffe's summer journal on the birds and wildlife he observed from his "Shorelands" home on the southern coast of Anglesey, Wales. Beautifully illustrated with his colored plates and black and white wood cuts.
