Sabrage Olympics at Westwell

Join us at Westwell for an afternoon of wine, friendly competition and silliness at the vineyard. In partnership with The Society of the Silver Sword, we're hosting the inaugural Sabrage Olympics - a celebration of English wine and the art of opening sparkling bottles with a blade… or possibly a shoe. Competitors will battle it out across five categories: Distance, Accuracy, Speed, Precision and Creativity, with prizes, photography, bragging rights and lots of fizz along the way. No problem. Silver Sword instructors will be on hand throughout the day to teach newcomers and help you earn your first sabrage stripes. There will be food (tbd but it will be delicious), and Westwell will be available by the glass and bottle; with bottle and case discount for silver Sword Members. Plus, there will be loads of opportunities to cheer, compete and celebrate one of the most entertaining afternoons of the summer.
