Our Pecan Nuts are all hand-shelled on our farm near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape Province, by highly skilled local woman( !) We do not use machines, heat or water to crack open the nuts - so our nuts are treated like royalty to give you the ultimate taste experience. Our pecans are 100% raw and we maintain the cold chain vigorously to keep them as fresh as possible. Product: 500g vacuum-sealed plastic bag. ( we are working on a more eco-friendly and cost effective solution) Raw Pecan pieces - we aim to remove all shells and hard membranes by hand, but sometimes we miss some- do take care. How do I use Pecan Nut Pieces? Use it in everything! Pecan Nut Pieces is an excellent and very healthy snack. Sprinkle over salads or pumpkin and fish dishes. Put it in rusks, pies, carrot cake. Or roast your nuts with cinnamon and a bit of butter to elevate their taste. Pecan Nuts are potentially a source of allergens for individuals sensitive to nut products.
