Parker Duofold NS in black and brown pearl marble, c1946 - Medium nib

The photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here This is an English Parker Duofold NS from around 1946 in black and brown pearl marble with gold trim. The 'NS' stands for 'New Style' which refers to the new design for the Duofold which was introduced just after the seccond world war and one year after Parker had acquired full control of the Valentine Pen Company at Newhaven. The New Style Duofold featured the new (for English production) arrow clip design and the Duofold's traditional metal filler button This is fitted with its original 14k gold nib with the imprint "Parker Duofold 14k Pen N" with the 'N' signifying that it was made at Parker's factory at Newhaven, England This nib produces a writing line of around 0.6mm which is a medium width This pen doesn't take cartridges. It fills from an ink bottle using using Parker's traditional button filling system This has seen little use and is in excellent overall condition with crisp imprints on the barrel as can be seen in the photos Condition B/1m - (Ref 13327) See our Condition Grading Scale We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We fit a new ink sac and then reassemble the pen. After this, we check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. This pen comes with our normal 12 month warranty.
