Description Here we have an Eastwood Newport Tenor in Cherry for sale! This one's got some minor finish chips on the headstock. The tenor is in otherwise great shape, and will ship set-up and ready to rock! "The EPI bass guitar, or EB-S, was manufactured between 1961 and 1969. We brought our Newport Bass tribute to the table last year, but we thought another 4-string instrument would suit the Newport style very well. Introducing the Newport Tenor! This instrument will maintain similar material specs to the originals Newports, including a mahogany body, mahogany set (glued-in) neck with rosewood fretboard. It will feature a tenor (23") scale length, and will include a single Warren Ellis Blade pickup. This combination of woods, pickup and construction give the Newport a distinctive rich tone, but brighter snarlier tones are possible when played down by the bridge, rather than over the pickup. The short scale and light weight makes for a very playable instrument. Whichever stringed instrument you play, you'll feel at home on the Newport Tenor!" Features & Specs Body: Solid Mahogany Pickups: Warren Ellis Blade Scale: 23" Width at Nut: 1 5/16" Neck: One piece set mahogany neck. Rosewood fingerboard. Adjustable truss rod. 21 frets.
