Japanese Puzzle Box - 4 Sun 7+7 Steps Two Compartment Puzzle Box

This is an unsual Japanese puzzle box that features two compartments rather than the one normally found. Each side requires 7 moves to open with the solution being the same on either side. The top and bottom panels are in similar but slightly different woods giving you a way to differentiate each compartment. The side panels feature wonderful Ichimatsu marquetry. A medium sized, 4 Sun puzzle box, this has a shallow storage space on either side that could be used to store some small valuables. Comes with a nice presentation box and includes the solution.
