Clean Little Secret

Our take on the low-gain Marshall sound is not to be taken lightly! Our Clean Little Secret is a low-gain platform that gets gritty in a hurry thanks to a refined approach to this foundational classic, with many of the original’s shortcomings addressed and improved upon. We’ve conquered the high-gain Marshall amp-in-a-box some time ago, and now our Clean Little Secret takes the classic low-gain Marshall BB formula and gives it a much needed refinement. We’ve beefed up everything from the classic amp enhancer, from the tone stack to the output stage and more, giving you just the right amount of kick. A completely overhauled tone section gives you individual control over treble and bass bands as opposed to a global tone knob, and we’ve added some more bells and whistles to push the unity volume level up quite a bit. Our designer’s favorite op-amp keeps the action whistle-clean until you push the gain, giving you delicious edge-of-breakup tones at the end of the dial, but subdued always-on enhancement tones at any other position. Some secrets are better left unkept!
