Landcruiser 100 Series, 105 Series, 80 Series, Lexus LX450, Lexus LX470, Tundra 2 Gen Recovery points by RHS
These aluminium alloy recovery points are machined from billet and have a yield strength of 500MPa, weighing 2.3 to 2.8kg per side. They offer a Factor of Safety of 3 for forward loads and 2.5 for sideward loads.
- The recovery points and bolts have been designed to handle maximum strengths of 6 tonnes forward and 1.5 tonnes sideward with a Factor of Safety of 3.
- The design maximises the loads that the chassis and captive nuts can handle, but FEA has not been conducted on the Toyota chassis rails or captive nuts.
