JAGUAR BALSA WOOD FAIR -TRADE PLAQUE - CARVED BY PERUVIAN AMAZON ARTISAN

These unique fair-trade decoration is a balsa wood plaque of a sitting jaguar. Each one is hand-painted with a different expression of this king of the Amazon jungle. They were all carved and painted by a veteran artisan from Iquitos. These plaques are 3.75" wide and 7.75" tall and 1/2" thick. Each one has a hook on the back for easy hanging. The sale of these decorations supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plant used to make it. Model: DEBM002
