Cruan – Marino Enamelled Copper Bowl (Soft White II)

This Marino bowl by Sinéad O'Connor of Cruan is finished in soft white enamel, fired over a handspun copper base. Through repeated firings, the white glass draws out the copper's natural oxides — producing the luminous blues, teals and mossy golds that wash across the surface inside and out. The colours shift with the light, pooling and lifting like the surface of the sea. This piece is entirely unique.The copper form is handspun in Sheffield by master craftsman Warren Martin. The raw copper rim is left exposed, a quiet contrast to the glassy enamel beneath. This piece is entirely unique.
