Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Pendant Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild

This piece is a classic Southwestern Native American cluster pendant with the Hallmark for the Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild. It features eleven vibrant, robin's-egg blue turquoise cabochons (likely Sleeping Beauty or Golden Hills turquoise). The stones are arranged in a concentric "sunburst" or floral pattern around a prominent elongated central oval stone. Each cabochon is meticulously secured in a smooth sterling silver bezel. The setting is accented by a delicate twisted silver rope wire framing the central stone and small oxidized sterling silver raindrop beads nestled between the outer cluster settings Organized in 1941 in Ft. Wingate, New Mexico, and started as a co-op in Pine Springs, Arizona, in 1942, the Navajo Arts and Crafts Guild is wholly owned by the Navajo Nation and has been creating jewelry, arts, and crafts for over 70 years.
