Fables and Fingerpaint

Ages 3-5 yrs Sundays 10:30-12 p.m (registration includes 1 child + 1 grown-up) Program Facilitator: Liana De Francesco (She/Her) Stories, imagination, and process art inspired by classic fables, fairy tales, and folklore. Each session includes: Storytelling Become the Story Process Art Invitation Story World Example Stories The Little Red Hen Stone Soup Three Billy Goats Gruff The Mitten Participants are also invited to play in the studio before each session at no additional cost from 9-10:30 a.m. About the facilitator: Liana is a natural craftsperson with a love for seasonal creativity and nature-based materials. With a background in environmental studies and forest conservation, she brings an appreciation for the rhythms of the natural world and the changing seasons into her creative process. She especially enjoys nature crafting, seasonal projects, crocheting, and exploring the many ways people can connect with the outdoors through handmade creations inspired by its everyday wonders. Liana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s Degree in Forest Conservation from Toronto Metropolitan University.
