Germany, Luftwaffe. A Tannenberg Cuff Title for Enlisted Ranks

(Luftwaffe Ärmelband Tannenberg für Mannschaften). Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey inscription of “TANNENBERG”, unmarked, measuring 50.5 cm (l) x 3.5 cm (w), a superb example of a cuff title issued to personnel of Aufklärungsgruppe 10, the obverse of one end demonstrating the remnants of an adhesive consistent with post-war display, in extremely fine condition.
