TARS-Tep 23: Black Tepary Bean
Tepary bean are native to the southwest and Mexico. They are known for their high protein content and drought tolerance. TARS-Tep 23 is an improved tepary bean coming to us from UC Davis. It performs well in tropical and temperate zones and under conditions of stress, high heat and drought. This bean has also been bred to resist bean rust, bacterial blight.
