Hard-to-Find Seed Treats

Most seed offered for pigeons is largely starch and fillers. Pigeons need protein, fat and carbohydrates regularly in their diet. Sindy’s “treat” mix is contains no less than 25% protein and 10% fat. The high protein content is due to the whole hemp seeds, mung beans and roasted groats. Roasted grouts are the toasted hulled seeds of the buckwheat plant.
