La Jajathèque 2024
Jaja is French slang to describe a bottle full of joy to share with friends 🥳. That’s what La Jajathèque is about. It starts with a salivating nose of prunes, provencal herbs and cherry coke 💦. The palate is Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde-like, opening on very light and delicate flavours of grape juice, black cherries and orange peel. The wine then flips over to show his wild side. Tobacco leaves, cinnamon and cured meat. Young wine yet integrated tannins. The finish is on cherry and fig liquor, eucalyptus and a yeasty splash. To drink chilled or slightly chilled. Region: Corbières/Languedoc Grape: 100% carignan Alcohol: 12.5% Total SO2: 0 mg/L Service: 10/12°C. Tech facts: 88 years old Carignan from Alba (limestone soils).
