Matured initially in sherry-seasoned oak, the spirit was later introduced to casks that once held Sauternes wine from Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey – Premier Grand Cru Classé of 1855, founded in 1618 in the heart of Bordeaux and today guided under the same Lalique guardianship as The Glenturret. What emerges is a quiet dialogue between Highland provenance and French vinicultural prestige. A whisky shaped by time rather than intervention, defined by patience, craft and a shared philosophy.
