Brown Bear with Rider: ceramic
A highly stylised bear with removable figure mounted on its back. As with many of my pieces, I have formed the body of this bear from single sheet of clay. The clay itself is made from a variety of clays and the resulting variations and imperfections have given the surface a faint patination. This has been enhanced by carefully waxing and polishing after the final firing.
