Gen 5 Specialised Pathogen Control Gen 5 is a concentrated disinfectant and sanitiser designed to help control pathogens in bird and poultry environments. Ideal for use as part of a strong biosecurity programme, it can be used in footbaths and for disinfecting hard surfaces, equipment and other high-risk areas. For poultry keepers, Gen 5 is particularly useful for footbaths at the entrance to coops, poultry sheds and bird areas, helping reduce the movement of pathogens on footwear. It is a valuable addition to biosecurity protocols during periods of increased disease risk, including heightened avian influenza (bird flu) awareness. As a concentrate, a little goes a long way. One 1L bottle makes up to 100L of footbath solution or 200L of hard-surface disinfectant when diluted according to label directions. Dilution: 10mL per litre for footbaths or 5mL per litre for hard-surface disinfection. Available in a 1L bottle.
