Learn to knit socks (Sun 1st Nov)

Single session Sunday 1st November This workshop is designed to develop your skills using circular needles or double pointed needles. In this workshop you will receive a sock kit which will contain your sock pattern, needles and yarn required to make a pair of socks. You will be taught how to read and follow a sock pattern as well as learn techniques to shape the heal and toes. Techniques such as grafting are taught to improve your finish. All materials to make a pair of socks (needles, yarn and pattern) will be provided. PRICE: £75 per person DATE: Sunday 1st November 10.30-13.30 WHO IS THE CLASS FOR? Beginner/intermediate MAX CLASS SIZE: 6 TUTOR: Michelle is an experienced tutor and has been lecturing in fashion and textiles for 27 years. She has an Honours Degree in Fashion Design from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design and holds a PGCE from the University of Exeter.
