Edward Ruscha Catalogue Raisonné of the Books, Prints, and Photographic Editions, 1960–2022

This three-volume catalogue raisonné comprehensively chronicles Ed Ruscha’s pioneering artist’s books, prints, and photographic editions from 1960 through 2022. The first volume provides context for these essential aspects of his oeuvre and includes an essay by editor Siri Engberg, the 1971 text “Information Man” by Ruscha, two essays by Clive Phillpot on the artist’s books, and selected bibliographies and exhibition histories for his books, prints, and photographic editions. The second volume focuses on Ruscha’s books, from Twentysix Gasoline Stations (1963) through Double Americanisms (2018), together with a selection of images that provide a glimpse into the artist’s involvement with the book as art form across his career. The third volume provides a record of prints and photographic editions by Ruscha and includes a visual archive of the artist’s collaborations with printmakers.
