Top & Pants Handmade in 100% eco-friendly Ahimsa Wild Tussar Silk. The silk is sourced by the Santhal community in Jharkhand, connecting the textile to the forests and traditional knowledge of the region. Spun using an indigenous spinning mill and woven on a handloom in a simple plain weave. Made without the use of chemical dyes or chemical treatments. The natural colour and tonal variations are influenced by an eco-resin derived from the forest climate across different regions, giving each textile its own distinctive character. Top has intricate vertical pintucks in front & back panels with a patch pocket. Slim fit Pants have half elasticated waistband and side functional pockets. The subtle variations in shade are an inherent part of the material and celebrate the natural irregularity of wild silk. Kalamkari Jacket This Artisanal jacket is made with Ikkat handwoven fabric and the same fabric then hand painted in kalamkari technique. Jacket is entirely hand-painted using a handcrafted wooden pen and colours derived from natural ingredients including herbs, flowers, roots and earth. Each Kalamkari motif is painted by hand in Sri Kalahasti in Andhra Pradesh, making every piece unique. Intricate hand embroidery and beadwork is done to enhance the motifs and give a luxe look. Jacket is lined with organic cotton fabric. Wash care: Dry clean only. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and strong perfumes.
