MultiAlerts Universal Sensor

The CA-UX Universal Sensor replaces five legacy sensors with one compact, configurable device. Mount it next to a smoke alarm for fire detection, place it in the nursery for baby cry monitoring, by a door for door knock detection, in a hallway for motion sensing, or connected to a NOAA weather radio (sold separately) via the 3.5mm accessory input for severe weather alerts. Each CA-UX handles one alert type at a time and is fully reconfigurable — use the pinhole button and Pair/Test button on the sensor to switch alert types. The fire/CO mode uses dedicated T3/T4 pattern recognition to detect both fire/smoke (T3) and carbon monoxide (T4) alarm signals — it only responds to your alarm's specific sound pattern, not kitchen noise, TV audio, or other ambient sounds. Pairs wirelessly with any CentralAlert receiver (CA-360II, CA-RXII, CA-PXII). Up to 40 CA-UX sensors can be paired to a single system. Powered by 2 AA alkaline batteries (included) with a 3-year battery life. Requires a CentralAlert receiver (sold separately) to generate alerts.
