Sentio Single Vineyard Mount Gambier Pinot Noir 2025

Not yet reviewed (previous vintage review): The vineyard features 'fractured flint atop ancient limestone', and it has to be said that it has produced a stunner of a pinot noir in '24. Meshes the cherry and red fruit with the herbal, the sappy, the earthy and high spices led by cardamom, with a discreet contribution from whole bunches lending a distinct pepperiness. A fascinating wine, each sip revealing another layer, sending the drinker down another ever-so silky tannin-ed track of discovery. Bravo! 95 points Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion
