Memento Mori Remember you must die. Memento Mori is a Latin phrase dating back to Ancient Rome. For more than two thousand years, it has served as a reminder that our time here is finite. We've always been fascinated by mortality. Not because we worship death, but because nothing puts life into sharper focus. Mortality is one of life's greatest teachers. The artwork draws from some of the oldest stories we tell ourselves—stories about mortality, immortality, and what it means to be human. History and mythology are filled with men who chased eternity. Kings. Conquerors. Saints. Monsters. Different names. Same obsession. In the end, they all discovered the same truth: Life has meaning because it ends. Don't waste a god damn day.
