TEG1-199-1.6-12 Thermoelectric Generator 40x40 Seebeck module optimized for power generation from a heat source up to 200°C (390°F). This peltier chip is optimized for electricity generation instead of cooling. Apply heat to one side and cool the other side with a heat sink (for example using a water block). The movement of heat energy through the device produces a usable electric current. The device can produce up to 8.5 volts potential when the hot side is exposed to 200°C with the cold side at 30°C (170 degree difference). Under these conditions, the maximum amount of 6 watts of power can be harvested from the module if it is operated at 4 volts.
