Maligne Range Amber Mountain Whisky

The Maligne Range is a newer project from the team behind Last Best Brewing, Banff Ave Brewing, Jasper Brewing, etc. This is a craft distillery and blender based in beautiful Jasper, Alberta. The Whisky program here was initially spearheaded by master distiller Bryce Parsons, who has since opened True Wild Distilling - widely considered one of the top new distilleries and cocktail bars in Canada. This release is part of the core series at The Maligne Range, and is named for Amber Mountain, a 2,565 -metre summit located in the Maligne Range of Jasper National Park. Amber Mountain is made from a blend of premium Alberta Rye and malted barley. This is approachable yet complex, and the distillery’s tasting notes include cinnamon, nutmeg, and rye spice, along with candied orange, green apple, and more.
