HiveGuard Beehive Entrance – Wasp & Asian Hornet Defence

Unlike conventional entrance restrictors, HiveGuard relocates the active entrance from floor level to the side of the brood box, closer to the frames and the main body of the colony. Intruders must travel upwards through narrow internal corridors, bringing them into close contact with guard bees that can quickly identify and repel them. This design gives the colony a stronger defensive position without unnecessarily slowing normal bee traffic—particularly useful during periods of heavy wasp pressure or where Asian hornets are a concern.
